I would like to thank everyone who bought tickets and participated in the reverse raffle. It was a very enjoyable evening. We had plenty of winners of our raffle baskets and our lottery boards. All the monies collected goes into the Legion Riders charity account which we disperse throughout the year.
We donate funds to many different organizations that are within the purview of Veterans assistance, veteran homes, and assisting the community. One of our charities we work with is a homeless shelter. We find out how many children are there and we spend an equal amount of money buying all the children clothing and toys. The American Legion also donates us money toward this shelter. At least we try and help make a good Christmas to remember for some children. We also donate money for Scholarships for students going to college or already attending college. If you have any questions about our charities, don’t hesitate to ask.
The warmer weather has finally arrived, which means riding season in Ohio. Please be aware of motorcycles on the road.
We also have some scheduled rides coming up. Just watch our FB page and see what we are doing. Anyone with a motor cycle over 650cc, a valid license and insurance are more than welcome to ride along.
